East Devon B vs Taunton C.S. A

For their last match of the season, Civil travelled to Exeter for a game against East Devon B. With Service safe from relegation and Devon firmly mid-table, this game was for little more than honour.

The home side opened with a blitz-krieg. First blood was scored from open play, then two more from short corners and a fourth taking a deflection off a defender's stick. All this in 15 minutes.

For the rest of the game, Taunton matched their opponents, although they struggled to score. The second half saw some great play, and although they let another in, Civil enjoyed some recompense as both Simon Jones and Toron Everett scored.

Curtis Bradley earned man of the match, and Jesse Mooney made his seniors début.
