PGSOB C 0 - 4 Taunton C.S.

The men of Taunton CS had a long journey this week as they travelled to Plymouth to play PGSOB. Despite the distance, they put out a strong team and hoped to repeat their impressive win from earlier in the season. However, Taunton quickly learned that the Plymouth side had improved.

At half time the score stood 2 nil to the visitors thanks to a strong short corner drill, but PGSOB could easily have tied the game. Their offence made several probing attacks and tested the keeper with several shots. At the same time, Taunton were weaker than in recent weeks and their offence were lacking their previous cutting edge.

The second half saw the away side score two more goals, but it was their defence that won the game. Even when down to ten men, PGSOB seemed to rise to the occasion. Taunton defenders stood firm and kept the shut out going. The final score was 4 nil to Taunton.
